Exporting Diagrams

Reviews end, and the picture has to travel: into slide decks, wikis, assessment reports, and the diagramming tools your organization already uses. Every view exports from the Diagrams tab.

Formats

  • draw.io: opens in diagrams.net for teams that annotate and extend there.
  • Lucid-compatible: imports into Lucidchart.
  • Document exports (the solution design, DFD, and threat model on Evidence and Exports) embed the relevant views, so documents carry their own pictures.

Exports Are Snapshots

An export captures the view as of the current design; it does not stay live. When the design changes, regenerate and re-export. The design model remains the single source of truth; exported copies are for communication, not maintenance.

Annotate Downstream, Design Upstream

It is fine to decorate an exported diagram for a presentation. The moment an annotation says something structural ("this should talk to that"), bring it back as a design change; edit, chat, or a re-run, so the truth lives in the model, not in a slide.
