Sign in and Your Organization

You sign in to an organization: the container for everything you see. Packages, the technology catalog, settings, members: all of it belongs to your organization, and your organization's data is fully isolated from every other customer's.

Ways In

• Username and password, with two-factor authentication available.
• Single sign-on through your organization's identity provider, on the Large plan and above, with directory-driven membership so access follows your IdP.
• Self-service signup creates a brand-new organization with a 30-day trial; the first user becomes its admin.

Roles Decide What You Can Do

Your role is assigned by an org admin (Members, Teams, and Roles): viewers read everything, architects design and decide, reviewers judge and approve, org admins administer, and custom roles compose permissions on the Medium plan and above. Throughout these docs, pages note when an action needs a particular permission; everything else assumes any member.

Finding Your Way

Signing in lands on the workbench: your packages, items needing your decision, reviews waiting on you, and the vendor renewal watch. The navigation rail carries you to Packages, Portfolio, and Settings from anywhere.
